About Spartan Tek

We're a small, owner-operated technology firm. We build fast custom websites and manage them; set teams up on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and administer them; provide managed IT and honest IT/SEO consulting; and run Spartan Shield security and HIPAA-readiness assessments for practices that handle sensitive data. Every client works directly with us from start to finish.

Yes. Web design, cloud setup, IT consulting, and SEO audits can all be handled remotely. Houston is where we're based, but we work with clients nationwide.

Web Design & Development

We design and build your site from scratch — no templates, no page builders. That includes the design, the code, mobile responsiveness, performance optimization, and basic SEO setup. We also offer ongoing management plans so you never have to think about updates, hosting, or keeping things running.

Yes. Once your project is complete and paid for, the site is yours. We don't lock you into proprietary platforms or hold your site hostage. If you ever want to move on, you can — though most clients stay because ongoing management is easier with us handling it.

A standard small business site typically takes 2–4 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on how quickly content and feedback comes back on your end. We'll give you a clear timeline before we start and stick to it.

Website Management

Management plans cover hosting coordination, site updates, minor content changes, and general upkeep so your site stays fast, current, and functional. Plans start at $100/mo for basic hosting and availability, $150–$250/mo for content updates and support, and $300–$500/mo for full-service management including SEO and analytics. Scope drives the price — reach out and we'll put together something that fits your situation.

That's fine. If it's a one-time build, the site is handed off to you with everything you need to manage it yourself. Our stack (React/Vite deployed on Netlify) is industry-standard and well-documented. We're still reachable if something comes up.

Cloud & IT Consulting

We set up, migrate, and manage Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 for small businesses. If your team is still running on personal Gmail accounts or scattered across different tools, we'll get you organized, properly set up, and trained — then stay on as your administrator if you need ongoing support.

Less than most people expect. We plan migrations carefully so there's minimal downtime and no lost data. Most small business migrations are completed with the team barely noticing the switch — they just log in to something that works better than what they had before.

IT consulting is a structured conversation about your technology — what you have, what you actually need, and what's costing you money without delivering value. We assess your current setup, ask the right questions, and give you a clear recommendation. No upsell, no agenda. Some clients need one session; others need a few. We'll scope it honestly before we start.

Yes, in two ways. For Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, our Cloud Solutions plans cover ongoing administration: users, licenses, security baseline, and day-to-day changes. For everything else, IT consulting is available on demand, billed hourly or in blocks. We don't run a 24/7 break-fix helpdesk; we focus on the cloud, security, and project work we do best.

Security & Compliance (Spartan Shield)

Spartan Shield is a one-time, read-only security and HIPAA-readiness assessment of your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. We review identity and access, email security, data protection and external sharing, compliance controls, device management, monitoring, and backup — then deliver a written Security Risk Assessment with prioritized, severity-rated findings and a remediation roadmap. We never alter your data or settings.

No. The assessment is advisory and reflects your environment as configured on the assessment date. It is not a certification, attestation, or legal guarantee of compliance, and it isn't legal advice. It gives you a clear, prioritized picture of where you stand and what to fix — which is exactly what most healthcare, legal, and accounting practices need to move forward.

The assessment itself is report-only, which keeps it objective and read-only. Remediation and ongoing management are available separately if you'd like us to help act on the findings, either as IT consulting or under a Cloud management plan.

SEO Audit

A complete six-section analysis: technical SEO, on-page optimization, content quality, link profile and authority, local SEO, and competitive positioning. Every finding is severity-rated (Critical / High / Medium / Low) and you receive a formatted PDF report, a prioritized action plan, and a 30-minute follow-up call to walk through the findings. Delivered within 5 business days. Flat rate: $399.

The free snapshot is a quick look — we identify your single biggest issue and follow up with a straight answer. It's designed for businesses that want a useful data point before committing to anything. The paid audit is the full picture: every layer of your site's search performance analyzed, documented, and prioritized so you know exactly what to fix and in what order.
